An introduction to the complexity of the DDay invasion
This alternative tour starts with La Cambe German Cemetery, Pointe du Hoc and a walk on Omaha beach, the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, then Longuessurmer German coastal gun battery, which had a new modern rangefinder in 1944, and the outstanding remains of Mulberry B, the artificial harbour planned and built in England prior to the invasion, needed by the Allied Forces to bring the supplies, at Arromanches. And back to your ship, enjoy the norman countryside and surely a short nap time to recover your strength!
We will see during that day many highlights, the German Military cemetery, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, The American Cemetery, Longuessurmer and Arromanches. This itinerary may be flexible and be subject to change on that day.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: At Le Havre, I will wait for you outside of the cruise building and hold a sign with your name on it. My pictures on this site will also help you to recognize me.
End location: At the same port normally.

My minivan is a Peugeot Expert Tepee 2012,air-conditioned seating 8 (so, 7 guests)very comfortable for a full-day tour, clean and nicely brown hickory coloured. If necessary I can also offer a small bus and driver service (from 19 to 30 seats)at an additional 800 euros, ideal for big family party.
