I'm also a working journalist with a background in TV, film, and radio.
Perhaps my best trait is curiosity. This drives me as a private detective who seeks the truth and it drives me as a writer who wants to understand---people, history, motives, what really happened. Stories make the world go round. Every single address we visit has a tale of events and characters. . I want any visitor to this great island to come away with vivid memories of its colorful inhabitants--past and present.
I've traveled around the world with one small suitcase and I've lived in several countries. I took a swim north of the Arctic circle and I sailed the South China Sea. From Afghanistan to Zanzibar, from Ethiopia to Macao, from Haiti to Patagonia---I've relished the adventure.
In my professional life I gather facts, sort them, and decide what is relevant. Preparing for trial or writing my radio show--it's telling a story. New York City is a magnificent city of stories and I look forward to meeting you and telling you lots of them!
I am a major fan of the great city of New York! Having been a featured guest on at least 50 radio shows, I am comfortable speaking to a group.
I am a published novelist and writer of true crime; I am also a licensed private detective. My background could be described as colorful as I still consider myself a journalist/broadcaster but I have a degree from Cordon Bleu in Rome and an advanced degree from the NY School of Interior Design. This means that I am interested in just about everything!
I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside museums.
I will not be your driver but can accompany you in your vehicle or arrange for a car and driver.
