The only way to see "The Whole" Met in under 3 hours with a private guide
The Met is 2. 8 million square feet, has 419 galleries, and is impossible to conquer in a short period of time. (Without Me)
Most visitors get tired at around the 2 hour mark and get frustrated due to it's size. I give an entertaining, full tour of the whole museum in 2 and a half hours. How do I do it?
The same way you get to Carnegie Hall. . . . Practice, Practice, Practice.
I will show you every wing, every building (Did you know the Met is made up of 19 separate buildings?) and all the major artworks that need to be seen on a visit to the Met. This is my specialty tour and look forward to showing you the secrets that lie in this special building.
We'll meet at the Great Hall and I'll take you along every single wing of the Met. From Greece to Egypt then all over the world and throughout history.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: We will meet at The Met in the Great Hall (Main Entrance). I will be standing directly in front of the information desk. It is located at 81st Street and 5th Avenue
End location: The tour ends at the Museum
Duration: 2 hours 30 min.
This is never affected by weather and is the best tour to take when it rains!
We'll be walking inside the museum. However the hoverboards option should be appearing any day now...
Museum Entrance Fee's are included with the tour when you book online.
Estimated Local Cash Needed
20 USD - Just in case you want a meal afterwards or something from the gift shop. They do accept credit cards as well.
The only extra cash would be if you wanted to grab lunch or have a drink at the museum afterwards. Credit cards are accepted as well.

Manhattanite here just saying...I've traveled and toured all over and Giovanni's grand tour of the Met was the absolute best tour I've ever taken. As we walked from gallery to gallery Giovanni ensured we saw the highlights and captivated us with some juicy background on the best the Met has to offer. You can tell this talented young man loves his work. I'll be taking more of his tours in the coming months. I highly recommend this guide.
