Urban contrast - self-seeding plants, and 19th , 20th, and 21st century architecture

Grab your camera and tour the High Line, one of Manhattan's hot popular destinations. See spectacular views and vivid details of the West Side of mid -Manhattan. From an elevated platform, the High Line provides countless vistas of the Hudson River. Glancing inland while walking through a vast range and display of wild self-seeding plants, you can focus on the time capsule of urban architecture that constitutes New York City; mid 19th Century into the 21st.

The repurposing of this old elevated rail line into a public park has driven urban revitalization in the area - art galleries, high tech companies, retail fashion, new residential high rises and the construction of the newest Manhattan neighborhood, the Hudson Yards. Learn the history of Chelsea from the top of High Line as you hone your photographic skills. This is both a photo and a walking, talking tour with a professional photographer and community gardener for 45 years.

Make sure you have the battery fully charged and storage enough for your pics

It's best to do this tour in the morning before the crowds fit the narrow pathways. Evenings can also be full, but then capturing the sunsets over the Hudson is always rewarding.
