A brief introduction to New York with a private guide
We will begin at your hotel - or wherever you are staying - with a mutual introduction and a friendly inquiry of how the city has impressed you so far.
Much may depend on the weather, but I would take you all in Central Park and also I would take you all on a Subway Excursion (sounds grander that way!) downtown to Wall Street - and some of our smaller streets and more intimate encounters in the city: Wall Street, Greenwich Village, the World Trade Center - and perhaps the Oculus!
New York can be spectacular - but I will try not to let it be overwhelming. Enjoy!
Beginning at your hotel, or wherever you are staying, we can proceed to Central Park - and become oriented to everyone's front and back lawn!
From there, we may visit Rockefeller Center (and possibly St. Patrick's Cathedral). We may then proceed by subway all the way to Wall Street or any other part of the city, and we may direct our attentions elsewhere (always at your approval).
Other places for our inspection could include Grand Central - and the World Trade Center and Brookfield Place (a great spot for lunch and relaxing).
Your guide will be receptive to your suggestions, but he is also willing to take you back to your starting point when we have completed our four hours together.
I hope you will have a memorable day!

Weather may be a factor - but we'll try to have fun with it!

Our "Street Teacher" was great! Bill is knowledgeable of New York. Certain areas in our tour are held emotionally and he doesn't hide it. We enjoyed our time with Bill and look forward to returning-there is still so much left to see. Additionally, our original tour date was on a rainy day. Bill showed up and offered us to reschedule! What a great idea, so we rescheduled! Again, Bill showed up on time! Had we trudged out on our original date, I would have been soaked and chilled, even under umbrellas.
