A private tour of Liberty AND Ellis Islands (Our National Immigration Museum)
I'm often asked if I get tired of seeing the same sights over and over again. How can I get tired of sharing the Statue of Liberty with people?! Lady Liberty has been sending out her special signal of democracy, hope, and freedom since 1886 and now it's your turn to pay a visit to her. Liberty Island is her home and together we will enjoy a ferry ride through the incredible harbor of NYC, seeing many beautiful sights along the way. We'll also be sure to take a family photo at the base of the Statue and talk about her history as the most enduring symbol of liberty the world has ever known!
Ellis Island will be our next stop where we'll dive into the the exceptional story of immigration that New York City has played host to since the earliest days of our country's diverse founding.
PLEASE NOTE: This tour DOES NOT include Crown or Pedestal access for the Statue of Liberty. We'll enjoy the grounds only.

Doug was a superb tour guide. He made the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island exciting for our girls (ages 9 and 11). His tour was interactive and age appropriate so that our girls were able to learn and participate. He has a wonderful sense of humor and was always open to questions. I highly recommend him to other families visiting NYC!
