A private tour of a magnificent public place with a private guide
The energy of NYC is unmistakable, in fact it's what I love most about living here! But sometimes I like to escape into a perfect oasis nestled within the confines of this historic concrete jungle, and this time I'd like to invite you to take a stroll with me : ) It's time to take a deep breath and escape the sights and sounds of the city streets and allow Mother Nature to work her magic. Together we will walk through the southern half of Central Park, where architecture & history, the laughter of children and the solitude of passersby all converge in this most iconic and picturesque urban landscape. If you've never explored Central Park, you've not fully experienced NYC. And if you've never explored Central Park with a tour guide, well, now's
your chance : )
Sites will include:
Delacorte Theater - Hosts free Shakespeare in the Park
Turtle Pond - Where turtles live, naturally : )
The Great Lawn - Home of VERY LARGE public events
The Ramble - A veritable forest in NYC!
Bethesda Terrace & Fountain - Site of countless films
Conservatory Water - Think Sailboats, very little ones. . .

The Mall - Not a place to shop!

Doug was very personable and engaged with everyone in our group, from my 80 year old parents to my 9 year old son. He provided pertinent information about the areas of the park we visited and made our visit to Central Park memorable and fun. Thanks Doug!
