Explore The World Trade Center Neighborhood
We shall see the 9/11 Memorial and learn about the World Trade Center both on that fateful day and throughout its history - some of which includes personal experiences. We may also visit the American Express Memorial in Brookfield Place, formerly known as The World Financial Center.
Our day and the time we start the tour is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests. We will visit the 9/11 Memorial, St. Paul's Chapel, and the Oculus and the 11 Tears Memorial at the American Express Tower.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: I will meet you at St. Paul's Chapel, at 209 Broadway between Fulton and Vesey Streets, along the iron fence. We will confirm how we will know each other beforehand, of course.
End location: We can end at the corner of Liberty and Church Streets, near Zuccotti Park, near a number of convenient subway lines, or at another spot of your choice.
Duration: 2 hours
2 hours is an estimated duration of our tour of just the World Trade Center site and the 9/11 Memorial. A more extensive tour of Downtown Manhattan is available on another tour.
You may use public transportation to reach lower Manhattan, but this is primarily a walking tour through the St. Paul's Chapel, the World Trade Center neighborhood, and the 9/11 Memorial.
Estimated Local Cash Needed
100 USD - Although admission to the 9/11 memorial is without charge, entrance to the 9/11 Museum (not included) is by a fee. Also, meals, souvenirs, drinks, and gratuities, etc. will be extra.
