7 hour comprehensive tour

The most comprehensive city tour, visitors with limited time this is for you! French Quarter, Treme & Marigny. Then we'll start with the upriver neighborhoods, Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery. We'll stop for lunch, where I will share history of our unique cuisine. Streetcar ride is next (optional) we will continue Upriver to the University and the Carrollton area. Disembark the streetcar and onto City Park. It's one of my most favorite locations with it's majestic live oaks and great history. The day would not be complete with out some music! As a capstone experience we'll listen to some great music. I can bring you to your hotel or to the airport if your departure is that evening. Alternately we can work in a Plantation visit, we would condense the city tour and visit a majestic plantation home.

Meet up at designate location- example : your ship or hotel.
French Quarter & Treme
Garden District & Lafayette Cemetery
lunch - we'll discuss what you would like best
St. Charles streetcar & Uptown neighborhoods

A Recent Review of this tour

Cassandra is a fantastic tour guide. We loved that she started the tour with history and maps - giving us great context for what we were going to see. She was flexible - tailoring the tour to the sites we wanted to see. She's funny and kind. She really helped us understand the culture of the city and it's people. She gave us great recommendations of places to eat and offered to answer any questions we had during the rest of our trip. Worth every penny. Highly recommended!
