Did you know New Orleans isn't one city, but three? Ride the "Beautiful Crescent" with me, and I'll catch you up!
It's true! Due to strife and divisions between the Creole and American populations the city was divided into three municipalities, from 1836 to 1852. It was a bold experiment in urban government, and has left its mark on the city to this day. We will explore the whole city by car, visiting the "town square" of each of these cities, we'll uncover the unique "vibe" of each. This is the best way to see the whole city in one day!
I will pick you up at your downtown hotel, or other downtown location of your choice, and we will start by exploring the French Quarter, followed by an upriver jaunt to the Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery, then head downriver to Marigny/Bywater/Lower Ninth Ward. You will see sites and meet people that most visitors never see, and you will love it, guaranteed!

We knew very little of New Orleans before our tour with Stephen. He was a wealth of knowledge about the city, its history, people and architecture. We came away wanting to learn even more - that's a testament to his vibrant storytelling and warmth. Loved the local experience and meeting with Ronald Lewis, director of the museum House of Dance & Feathers in the Lower 9th Ward. I believe Mr. Ronald Lewis says it best, "Although you'll arrive a stranger, you'll certainly leave a friend."
