I LOVE MY CITY! I was born and raised in the city of New Orleans. Whether you want to explore history or haunts, shopping or swamps, food or just have fun, I have a tour for you.
I have been a tour guide for 15 years and never get blasé about the rich history of this magical city.
New Orleans has so much to offer to her visitors. There is always something to do in this great city. It would be my pleasure to take you around New Orleans and show you the wonderful sights and sounds. From Uptown to the Lower Nine, from the French quarter to the Garden district.
Our culture is like no other. We love to live and live to love. Around every corner, you will find a second line (Those who follow the band just to enjoy the music are called the "second line. " The second line's style of traditional dance, in which participants walk and sometimes twirl a parasol or handkerchief in the air, is called "second lining) celebrating an event.
A little bit about the tours I offer. . . I am all about letting You decide how you want to spend your time with me! My tours are 3, 4 or 5 hours long. I have a 2015 Mercedes ML 350 and a 2014 Volvo XC90. Both are high end luxury vehicle with Leather interior.
I will give you some options on how to get the most bang for your buck, but ultimately it's about YOU and what you are interested in. With that said, LETS GO EXPLORE NEW ORLEANS!
I do recommend one of the first things you do in New Orleans is TAKE A TOUR! This will acclimate you and help you understand New Orleans. Also it will help you plan your activities here.
On any of the tours, I can pick you up or drop you off at the airport.
If I can help with any arrangement while you are in New Orleans please don't hesitate to ask.
See you soon :)
Laissez les bon temps rouler!
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!!
A Recent Review of this guide
Michaela was THE BEST guide I have ever had. She knew her New Orleans so well and could project her love and knowledge of it with great enthusiasm. We learned so much and it all came alive as she added some tidbits from the years she has lived there. She took us to places she thought we would enjoy after finding out what we had seen and wanted to see. She waited while we jumped out to peruse the Market and Jackson Square a few minutes and even get a wine glass to take home from Pat O'Bien's.
