The "Axarquia of Malaga: East coast of Costa del Sol
Have you ever heard about the tallest stalagmate in the world? Well, they claim it's here, in the Caves of Nerja. . . Eventually true, it is worthwhile to visit this cave even if this column is only "one of the tallest" in the world! The cave was discovered in 1959 by some kids and partly opened to the public in 1960, since then it is one of the main tourist sites of Malaga province.
(If you are not interested in the cave, we can skip it and visit the Balcony of Europe in Nerja town instead. )
After the visit to the cave (in guided groups with an audio guide system), let us drive to Frigiliana, one of the most beautiful white washed villages in Andalusia! After a stroll through the charming streets you may taste some olive oil and sweet wine of the region during your leisure time.
Return to your ship or accomodation. The schedule of this tour is estimated in 5 hours, but can be extended, please ask for a custom tour if you wish to stay for a typical Paella lunch on the beach.
From Malaga we'll take the motorway to the Cave of Nerja, located at Maro, for the visit to the Cave. After the visit, we will continue by car to Frigiliana, and visit this beautiful village. After the visit, we will take the motorway back to Malaga.

The family of 11 people of all ages had a perfect tour with Maike on December 23 2017. Maike is a extremely knowledgeable guide. The visit to the Caves of Nerja, the town of Frigiliana the balcony of the world and the lunch to a local restaurant on the beach were wonderful. We would hire her again immediately! She provided us with extremely interesting insight and history of Spain throughout the day. Looking back to the entire trip - it was perfect in every way!! Sorry for writing the review so late.
