A little bit of wild life very close to the city of Warsaw.
Warsaw is situated in the Mazovia region in the central part of Poland. This region is generally very flat and not really rich in the wildlife. So it comes as a surprise that only 35 km (21 miles) from the Warsaw city center, the huge area of Kampinoski National Park starts. This is a wild forest where the dunes mix up with the swamps. A great possibility to spend some time out of town in the wilderness. If we are lucky enough we can even see a moose or a beaver.
Kampinoski National Park covers the area of 38 500 square kilometers of land open for walking in the wilderness. You can enjoy the pure nature, with a variety of landscape and a piece of history behind.
During the tour we take you for a walk along the tracks showing different areas from swamps to dunes. We also make a stop in Palmiry Museum and the World War II cemetery to tell you the story of those who fought in this area. This will be a great opportunity to spend some time in the nature and take a rest from the big city.
