My professional background is in the areas of Banking & Finance, and Business Management & Accounting. However, the idea of me becoming a local tour guide came back in 2014 when I decided to volunteer with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism to become an Ambassador for the People-to-People program. Initially my assignments consisted mostly of small groups of slow movers who wanted to see the islands "through the eyes of a local" and be able to move at their own pace. Because of my obvious love for people, and the fact that I demonstrated such a strong passion for ensuring that my visitors enjoy the most amazing experience (specifically designed to suit their interests and needs), those same visitors encouraged me to do it on a larger scale, and make a career of it!
Fast-forward to today, I am so happy I heeded their suggestions and obtained the necessary certification to qualify me as a licensed professional tour guide. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of meeting and catering to visitors from various countries around the world. As a result, I have built and maintained some awesome relationships, and have had the wonderful privilege of servicing repeat visitors.
Choose one of my published tour options, or contact me to create your own unique itinerary. I look forward to the opportunity to provide you with my five-star treatment and make your trip to my islands one filled with awesome experiences, and fond memories that you will cherish for a lifetime!! #jw
