Brussels Waterloo Brussels with private transportation
One of the most famous battlefields in the world (and a very pleasant trip): Waterloo! Let me bring that crucial day in history back alive: climb the Lion's mound overlooking the battlefield, put your fingers in the holes made by the bullets of the Foot Guards defending the Chateau of Hougoumont and so much more.
I will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Waterloo, taking the road Wellington took in the night of the 16th of June 1815. Once in Waterloo we will visit the HQ of Wellington, the battlefield and the 1815 Museum, La Haie Sainte and La Belle Alliance (outside only), the HQ of Napoleon and of course Hougoumont. At the end of the day I will bring you back to your hotel.

Dirk drove our party of 6 to the Waterloo battlefield and museums for the day. He was an excellent guide, personable and knowledgeable. We had an excellent day visiting all the relevant locations. If you have an interest in the battle, I cannot recommend this way of visiting it highly enough. I am sure Dirk would also be an excellent guide for the other locations he offers.
