Slum tour with a private guide
Kibera- The city of hope! Infamous for being one of the largest slums in the world and second largest in Africa, this place not only invokes awe at its sheer expanse but also brings you to touch with humanity in a way you will never experience in your life any where else (unless of course you grew up in a slum city).
Perhaps after watching the movie Slumdog millionaire you wondered what life is really like in a slum. Forget what you saw in the movie or on tv, come along with me and I will show you the true face of slum life.
I'm certain you must have all kinds of reservations about the place and the kind of people that live there!Well, so did I until I got to go there myself. Prepare to let go of your aspersions and experience humanity.

Jacque worked hard to modify our tour when our time was more limited than expected. She listened & made sure we saw the key points in Kibera. This is an eye opening experience to see how 1 1/2 million people exist. Jacque & the local resident Mitch made sure we felt safe & understood what we were observing. Don't miss this opportunity to understand more than the tourist side of Nairobi.
