The plain of Argolis is a cistern of myths. Mycene, "rich in gold" was the palace and the tomb of the king Agamemnon who fought the war of Troy. Stories from the greek theatre are still haunting the place. .
The theatre of Epidaurus is a wonder of acoustic. Here, the greek god of medicine was worshipped and olistic therapeutic methods were applied.
The day includes a long break in the charming town of Nauplio, the first capital of modern Greece with its three castles, Venetian style, and Neoclassical homes.
Highlights of the tour: Lion's gate, tomb of Agamemnon, theatre of Epidsurus, Palamidi castle.

At first we drive at the closest point of Salamis and mention the homonymous sea battle.
Next, we will stop to see the Canal of Corinth,
Heading to Mycene, we will cross the plain of Nemea with the famous wines.
Reaching Mycene, we will visit the Acropolis, the museum and the "treasure if Atreus".
In Epidsurus we will visit the theatre and the rest of the archaeological site.
Nauplio is mostly free time and some guided walk. Old mosques , churches, the koboloi museum and a fascinating collection of greek traditional costumes could be visited.
