Drive through this fishing village visiting the 400 years old Quriyat Fort before heading for the Fish souk where a variety of fish is traded for local consumption as well as export. Yasser took me on a very adventurous drive through the mountains with a 4 wheel drive car. It was very exciting and something I would not have been able to do any other way. He drove nearly 250km for the day, mostly motorway but some through the mountains on dirt and stony roads even through streams and also to other sites such as the new fish market. He explained much to me about Omani life. I learned a lot about the unique terrain from the wadis we drove through. I had a very worthwhile experience.
