Mt. Nokogiri in Chiba prefecture came off the 2nd place of Deep Spot in Japan Ranking by Nikkei Inc.
From the top of Mt. Nokogiri, we can have a splendid panoramic view of Tokyo Bay and the Boso Peninsula.
There are two big Buddha statues and more than 1500 small Buddha statues in Nihonji temple.
The basic itinerary is as follows:
8:15 Meet at your Hotel in Tokyo or Chiba and move to Hamakanaya station by train.
11:05 Arrive at Hamakanaya station.
Mt. Nokogiri Ropeway : From the top of Mt. Nokogiri, a splendid panoramic view of Tokyo Bay and Boso Peninsula.
Nihonji Temple : A temple with a history of more than 1, 000 years. Two big Buddha statues and more than 1500 small Buddha statues.
Hyaku-shaku Kannon : The huge stone carving of goddess Kannon in that deepest of the gorges.
Jigoku Nozoki : The prefect photo spot.
1500 Rakan : Multiple Rakan Buddha stone statues.
Nihonji Daibutsu : Japan's largest ancient Buddha stone statue.
Seafood dishes or Seafood BBQ at The Fish.
15:09 Leave at Hamakanaya station and move to your hotel by train. The guide will say good bye to you at Chiba station.
