A taste of Cilento (food and archaeology)
This is a great gourmet-cultural tour!
As member of Slow Food association I'll take you in an authentic organic farm where there is produced the real Mozzarella from buffalos milk.
You'll see the different phases of the production and of course have an unforgettable tasting.
After lunch as archaeologist specialized in Greek archeology I'll show you the impressive Greek temples of Poseidonia-Paestum.

We will visit an organic farm where we will do a walk to admire the buffaloes, with smells and noises that are integrated with the modernity of the stables. The wisdom of craftsmanship.
The path ends with a meeting with the taste of dairy products.
After the tasting we will go to paestum for a light lunch to taste other delicious products from Cilento area (ricotta, cheese, sausages, vegetables. . . ) (optional).
At the end we will go to discover the ancient ruins of the graeco-roman city of Poseidonia-Paestum with its impressive temples and the marvelous National Museum.

We had a wonderful tour with Roberto. We first went to the mozzarella farm and saw how the cheese was made... loved it! Then Roberto took us to Paestum ato see the Greek and Roman ruins. Roberto is very knowledgeable and explained things to us very well.
