Meet at your DC hotel, ride thru Alexandria traveling along the George Washington Parkway all the way to Mount Vernon. Once there, first see the introductory film about George, tour the Mansion at the designated Mansion tour time, visit the Washington burial site, stroll to the Potomac if you like, tour the slave quarters, the gardens, and spend considerable time enjoying the fabulous Educational Museum covering George Washington's incredible career. End the tour with lunch and visiting the gift shop if you prefer.
