Metro in Moscow is more than just transport. It's a huge underground museum where you can enjoy the best samples of Soviet art and architecture. During this tour we visit the most remarkable stations built in Stalin Empire style: Mayakovskaya and Revolution Square, explore the magnificent circle line (Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Beloruskaya, Taganskaya, Novoslobodskaya and more). We also see a couple of beautiful new stops.

Julias tour of the amazing Moscow Metro was informative as it was visually stimulating. This maze of a metro is beautiful and with so many stations be prepared to lose a little shoe leather. Luckily I had my 77 year old Mother in Law with me who I could use as an excuse to claim a seat or a rest break and Julia adjusted accordingly with no problem. Julias knowledge of the history and also her social commentary of Muscovites in general was fantastic and gave us a real sense of the culture behind the people
