Did you know that Herrnhut in Saxony became the new home of the Moravian church? Come and learn more about their history and traditions and get to know the manufacture where the famous Star of Bethlehem is made.

On this tour you will enchant the small villages and special framework architecture of Lusatia in the eastern part of Saxony - away from the large tourist destinations. It is rich in culture and customs and it is the home of a slavic national minority- the sorbs or wends. And you will enjoy a fascinating countryside!

Starting from Dresden we pass by the old city of Bautzen and get to Herrnhut. After a walking tour to the church and graveyard we visit the manufacture of the Moravina Star or rhe Star of Bethlehem. Then we continue to Stolpen to see the fortress where the saxon ruler Augustus sent his most famous mistress Anna Constantia. At the end of the day we can even pass through the countryside of the Elbe valley.
