6 hours enjoying Montevideo in a private mixed sightseeing, walking and tasting experience
This tour is a journey through Montevideo since its foundation in 1724, specially designed for groups in a 6 hour relaxed tour with emphasis on some street walking so you get the feeling of a Montevidean citizen with time for a typical food experience.
Going in a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van or similar, we will start at the Matriz Sq. where you will learn about foundation, Colonial times, the 2 Spanish important buildings and other old styles but fascinating architecture.
After visiting the Cathedral, we will be walking along Sarandi Pedestrian St. towards the Independence Plaza in the center of Montevideo after 1870, when the fortress city walls were removed.
Then we will see the amazing coast, incredible white sand beaches, parks, and highlights as Pocitos beach, Montevideo World Trade Center and the gorgeous seaside rambla.
Montevideo is the southern capital of South America, one of the most beautiful cities with a high living standard.
