Be surrounded by hundreds of Monarch butterflies in the forest after visiting the charming town of Valle de Bravo
Seeing the Monarch butterflies flying freely in the forest of Valle de Bravo is something to remember. We will visit the Sanctuary of Piedra Herrada at midday to make sure you will see the butterflies flying around. They usually look for warm and sunny spaces in the forest which is why arriving at noon is by far the best moment of the day to enjoy this natural phenomenon at your own pace.
We will start the tour in a XVI century little town called Valle de Bravo (2 hours away from Mexico City) where we can admire and learn about its colonial houses and churches, have lunch by its beautiful lake and if you want, we can enjoy a ride on a boat!
