I have a master degree in Communication and Art Education and I chose to live in Milan because it's the Italian capital of contemporary art. I am an authorized tour guide.
I lived previously in Rome and Berlin, two cities that I loved in a different way, and Milan represents a perfect point of arrival for me because holds together an international and future-oriented character and a great beauty given by its rich historical and artistic heritage.
Milan has always something new and exciting to offer and this is what I want to show you. Along with some indisputable gems from Milanese history, I offer tours containing events and temporary exhibitions.
During my art studies at the Fine Art Academy in Rome, I worked for some artist as an assistant and set up exhibitions, in private galleries and museums. I know well the way museums and art system work.
I keep myself updated on current art trends and I attend the most important European events. During visiting these massive exhibitions often I feel a bit under stress because there's so much to see that becomes hard to select what deserves more attention and time. I wish there's someone who has already visited the exhibition before, like a friend sharing my same passion, who also would like to discuss its contents with me. That's why I want to provide this service to you.
Some temporary expositions display wonderful documents, artworks or projects that we would not have the opportunity to see in any other way. Museums open occasionally their depository, protecting valuable items. A good curatorial idea can open a new perspective on a specific author or historical period. Through the lenses of a contemporary artist, we can have an unexpected view of our everyday life or someone else's.
I firmly believe that culture is a living matter which is nourished by curiosity and links creation between the different eras.
Yesss let's customize! Each person has his/her own interests and needs, l am willing to shape tours on your wishes. We will figure out what are the best options for you. I can add more historical sites on the way of our tour. We can include stops to enjoy a good coffee or a snack.
Children are welcome. Let's shape however a nice tour also for them.
Italian deaf groups can ask for a certified L. I. S. interpreter. No extra charge.
The fastest way to move around the city is by metro, tram, and bus. A full day ticket costs 4, 50€.
We can also use a taxi or, for long tours, a car with a private driver.
For any question don't hesitate to write me.
