A pleasant walk discovering the city

Your full-day tour of Milan includes a walking tour introducing you to this Italian city.
On your full-day sightseeing tour you'll visit the glamorous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and the fabulous La Scala. Next, you'll tour the breathtaking Duomo, one of the world's largest, most striking Gothic cathedrals. Some 135 spires and 3, 200 statues are crammed onto the roof and into the facade. The tour does not include going up to the roof of the Duomo, but according to your needs it is possible to arrage it. The tour continues to the Sforza Castle.
The second part of my itinerary shows the turning from the Gothic Style to the Renaissance one, under the Dukedom of Sforza Family. An opening on a great period of cultural change which began in Florence at the end of 13th century. The culmination of the Renaissance in Milan came about 1500 and 1530. During this time two of the most famous artists spent their days in Milan, producing works that have for century been regarded as touchstones of perfection.

A Recent Review of this tour

Excellent English speaking guide. She gave us a complete 6 hour tour of the Duomo, including the roof. The Gallaria and obtained tickets for us to see the Last Supper. She moved at a good pace, but if you want a lunch break advise her when booking. We didn't take a lunch break, but probably should have, that wasn't her fault. Just something to keep in mind when booking I wouldn't recommend this tour with small children, it's to long. Really enjoyed her knowledge of what she was showing us.
