Mikumi National Park, is situated less than 300 kilometers from Dar es Salaam city center, which makes it a very popular park due to its accessibility. The Mikumi flood plain with lots of Borassus Palms dominates the park, where Lions is commonly seen as are packs of Wild dogs. Giraffes, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Zebras, Wildebeests, hundred flocks of Antelopes, Elands, Crocodiles, Monitor lizards, dozen type of Birds like Fish Eagles, Vultures, white and black Herons, Hippos and African Python are only some of many inhabitants which are residents of Mikumi National Park.
The drive will begin around 06h00/07h00 in Dare-salaam. We will be driving for about 6hrs (including lunch break). Be at the Park in the midday, having game drive till late afternoon. Dinner and over night at Lyambangali Visitors Inn which is government own inside the Park. Day2: Early breakfast, with your lunch packet for the whole day of game drive. Meeting location: On the day, I will be at our departure point at least 30 minutes before Safari's starting time.
End location: Safari will end up where we begun, but if you aim to fly away from Dar or catch a ferry, I will drop you exactly on the favorite place of myself for you! :) Hakuna Matata!

We can visit Mikumi National Park any time of the year, Its advised, if you aim to go to Zanzibar by boat after your Safari, you have to monitor your time carefully, because a traffic jam to the city center is high after midday, for your last boat which leaves at 15h30 To Zanzibar.The last flight to Zanzibar is 17h30 from Dare-salaam .
