Enjoy a professional Mezcal tasting BEYOND commercial brands
Roma neighborhood is back on track and this is a tour that is not only focused on drinks but also in architecture and history.
You will learn about artisan/craft beer, tasting home made and even some seasonal beers. Also you will taste traditional made Mezcal that has been on the rise during the last decade.
Roma is a BOHEMIAN neighborhood created more than a century ago with about 1500 houses and buildings with exquisite architecture.
We will start walking in Roma neighborhood explaining its architecture and history. You will learn about the new phenomenon of craft beer, taste some in one micro brewery and you will have the opportunity to try even one with chilli or chocolate in its process !!, then some traditional food like tacos and at the end you will taste and learn how to identify traditional Mezcal, its artisan process and how it differs from Tequila.
Mezcal tasting may change its location to a nearby neighborhood.
Beer may be substituted by Mexican wine upon request.

Antonio was a wonderful, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable tour guide! I have a particular passion and interest for food and spirits, and culinary tours are always a very important part of my travels. Antonio's tour was a superb way to spend some of my time in Mexico City and a great introduction to the Roma neighborhood.I came away from the tour with an education on Mezcal and am now keenly interested in learning more (and tasting more!). I highly recommend this excellent tour!
