We start at the metro station Östermalmstorg with its unique blasted art works made by Siri Derkert in the late sixties.
• We pass the newly renovated upmarket market hall Östemashallen in national romantic style from the late 1800s. • We see Stockholm's oldest industrial building and the Royal Dramatic Theater from 1907 in art noveau.
• We visit the monunent over Raoul Wallenberg who led the resque of some hundred thousand jews in the end of WW2.
We walk over Blasieholmen where the Wasa Ship was launched in 1628 and
• visit one of the more spectacular metro stations - Kungsträdgården. • We see the Grand Hotel where the Nobel Prize laureates stay and Kristina Nilsson (the second Swedish nightingale after Jenny Lind) sang from a balcony in 1885 before some 50. 000 people.
• We get a glimpse of the Royal Opera, Parliament and Royal Palace.
Finally we end the tour at the smallest public piece of art in Stockholm: Liss Erikssons Iron boy, or Little boy looking at the sun where we make a wish.
