An all-day tour of the millionaire's playground: Martha's Vineyard!
Like all of coastal Massachusetts, this island was first inhabited by colonists in the 1600s. It was given its name by the English explorer Bartholomew Gosnold, who sailed to the island in 1602. With me as your guide, we will explore the Vineyard, visiting quaint little towns (Vineyard Haven, Edgartown, Oak Bluffs) which people travel from all across the globe to visit. Many beautiful scenes await you!
During the summer, the island population swells to close to 50, 000. I refer to it as the millionaire's playground because movies stars, world-class athletes, celebrities, and (most notably) presidents have all been know to spend a considerable amount of vacation time here.
See the tour description for details and sequence.
This trip is contingent on a reservation for the ferry to the Vineyard. In the summer you MUST book early, months early. Congestion is much lower in the spring or fall.
