The African/American History Tour is one of the most treasured tours of Martha's Vineyard.
See the sights of the underground railroad stops during slavery times.
Visit Rebecca Amos Farm - one of the first slaves on Martha's Vineyard.
Get up close and personal with Shearer Cottage and speak with the relatives of Charles Shearer, the first slave to bring the Af/Am Heritage to Oak Bluffs.
Admire the house that Martin Luther King resided in where he was inspired to write the "I Have A Dream" speech.
Photo ops available.
For groups larger than 5 and up to 15 people please call for a quote.


There are many sights to see on the Af/Am Heritage Trail tour.
We go through 4 of the 6 towns on Martha's Vineyard.
Many photo opportunities available.

Meeting Location + Tour Duration

Meeting location: I will come to you and pick you up.
Please enter name of ferry and its arrival or hotel you are staying at.

End location: There may be plans of dropping off at a different location other than where we started. This will be discussed during the tour and we have many suggestions on where to shop and dine.

What’s Extra

If at anytime during the tour an extension of tour is requested then the cost of the extra time will be determined and agreed upon during the tour. The extra cost will be paid at the end of the tour.
