I have been showing international visitors the wonders of Kiev for close to five years.
My education and prior work experience have provided me with the skills and knowledge necessary to give informative and interesting tours. I have a specialist degree in Tourist discipline and getting post diploma education in Art history at the Kiev academy of architecture and arts.
I am fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
In order to work as a tour guide in Kiev one must qualify for a touring license by passing a series of examinations. My license gives me and my tourists admission discounts to many sights and museums.
As well I specialize in archival research and provide genealogical tours searching for the people family roots and assisting to create genealogy.
After working with so many tourists, I know that your time in a foreign city is precious and limited. I want to make your visit as valuable and treasured as possible. I pride myself not only on being a professional, but also on providing great personal attention to all of my customers. Those who come on my tours leave Kiev with the feeling that they are not only my clients, but my friends as well. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
I am looking forward to introducing you to the beautiful city of Kiev.
A Recent Review of this guide
Tour guide Margarita was extremely knowledgeable and an expert on the history, culture, and traditions of Kiev specifically, and Ukraine in general. Her English is impeccable and she conducted the tour at my pace (bad knee) and very professionally. I highly recommend her services to those who would like a quick and extensive overview of Kiev in a short period of time.
