Maras, 4 km from Moray, is the site of Pre-Inca salineras (salt ponds). I booked this tour very last minute but Edwin was on time and full of knowledge. We had lovely conversation and he was very attentive to my questions. This tour was a lovely way to get acclimated before heading out on the Inca Trail. The Salinas are really quite something as is Moray. The weaving in Chinchero is lovely and a great place to find nice gifts.
