This is a beautiful half day tour that includes different amazing places to see like moray which is a huge Inca farming laboratory what is also adapted to big natural land formation of the region and used by the Incas as university of farmers , then there is another stunning site called salineras with its salt pools where not only the Incas but also the new generation gets table salt for their family, what is also interesting there is the process to get salt which is still like on inkas time.
We will pick you up from your hotel around 8:00 am and head to first amazing place called moray which is going to last 1 hour and will be absolutely beautiful because of the mountains, lakes and valleys until arriving moray which is an amphitheater like place with a lot of terraces built by the Incas and used as experimental station area of the farmers.
After touring we will continue to the salt mines which is about 30 minutes away from moray, where we will see a huge place of more than 3000 salt ponds still used by locals to get one of the best pink salt in world with the same system of how their ancestors did it.
Later on we will be back to Cuzco and stop in one of the textile center of chinchero where we will have demostration of how the locals get the dye from natural herbs, insects and minerals to die all the wools of llama and alpaca , then you will have free time to buy them directly from the producers and with a best price.
Once the tour is done, we will be back to Cuzco and leave at your hotel.
