Pick up in your place and drive to Manaus downtown and see the Paço da Liberdade, built in 1889 to be a governor's house and then the Manaus city hall.
Visit the Manaus Public Market, where we will walk through the area to see and you will learn about the amazonian fruits, vegetables and fishes.
Visit the Rio Negro Palace, built in 1900 to be a residence of Mr. Scholz, a powerful rubber baron of Manaus in that time, short stop and walking in its surroundings to see the beauty of that palace.
Visit the Amazonas Opera House with indoor and outdoor walkings to see the building and the other monuments that surrounds the place.
End of the tour taking the tourists back to their place.

Joao was very professional and pieced together a comprehensive private tour well suited to my wife and I, especially since she uses a wheel chair. It would have been much harder if we were trying to fit in to a ship-sponsored tour. As an aside we were able to learn more about family life in the area. I recommend him.
