The capitol and komturia of the Teutonic Knights Order and State
Known as Ordo Teutonicorum or The Teutonic Order - The Order of the Hospital of Our Lady of The German House was established in Jerusalem in XI cent.
Within next 3 centuries the Order extended its activity also to the countries laid between lower Vistula and Niemen River, conquered the Eastern part of Polish Pomerania and established Order's State.
Malbork became a capital and the Main House of the Teutonic Order State.
At the beginning of XIV cent. Teutonic Knights conquered Gdansk and ruled in the region till the middle of XV cent.
During our tour you'll see the main seat of the Order - Malbork and Gdansk managed till the middle of XV cent by the local Commander.
From Gdańsk we will go to Malbork to see the Teutonic Knights Castle and after it we will return to Gdańsk to walk alongside the Old Town to the place where Teutonic Knights castle was situated till XV century.
