The Moorish Crown Jewel: The Alhambra with a Private Guide
From the port (or your accommodation in the city) we will take the highway to Granada and already on the way, you will get all relevant information about the region and Granada. Upon arrival we will visit the Alhambra and Generalife, visiting the Nasrid Palaces, Charles V palace and Generalife complex. On your pace.
Depending on the available time for cruise ship passengers, we may walk downtown for a visit of the old city centre and lower ALbayzin. For travelers who stay in the city of Malaga, and who are not restricted, we can add it, if you wish.
After the visits we will return to the port. The timing and itinerary has to be adapted to the docking times of your ship, with a maximum of 8 hours
One detail: my guide service is full day, from port to port.
From Malaga, there is a modern motorway to Granada, in a couple of hours we'll reach the City of Granada. Depending on the time of the tickets for the Alhambra (times are restricted) we will organize the day, so you will have the time for the Alhambra (approx. 2 hours) and then we'll visit the city centre and some of the monuments, if you wish, plus some time for a local tapas lunch, and a visit to the Albayzin, the oldest district in town. (Depending on the stay of your cruise ship), after the visit, we'll return to Malaga.
If you wish a longer programm, please let us know to customize the tour, as if you stay overnight, we will arrange an evening visit to a typical Gypsy Flamenco and a dinner in one of the charming restaurants of Granada.

Maike was fantastic! Although a bit expensive, the private tour of Alhambra and Granada she provided was worth every cent, leaving our family with a lifetime of memories. Maike customized the tour to our desires and used her expert insight to maximize our time. She is a wealth of knowledge regarding Spanish history, without which we would have lost out on the best parts of the sites we visited in the Alhambra and Granada. Our favorite part was her "tour" of the best Spanish foods Granada had to offer!
