We will head the north of Madrid to explore the most expectacular sited city in Spain "Segovia " . The old town is set on a high rocky spur surrounded by 2 rivers. From afar it looks like a ship , the medieval Alcazar on its sharp crag forming the prow, the pinnacles of the Gothic cathedral rising up like a mast and the aqueduct trailingbehind like a rudder. with a roman aqueduct .
And afterwards we will visit the Escorial Palace- Monastery , the dream of grandeur from the King Felipe II in the 16 th century.
We will visit Segovia set high on a rocky spur ans sourranded by two rivers . The highlights od Segovia are :
medieval castle -Alcazar
-the last gothic cathedral built up in Spain
- the roman aqueduct
Then we will have lunch and head to the 15 hundreds wonder. . . the Escorial Palace
