Private Tour for Explorers with a local guide
This tour has the aim to present the other face of Madeira island: the north side. The nature and weather are very active, rough and wild, compared with the south. The nature is more green, beautiful and alive with several waterfalls along the coast. Its people are even more humble, kind and generous with very old traditions and slow motion life style.
We are driving along the sea coast with vertical green cliffs and blue & esmerald waves crashing on the shore, bringing the fresh salty air into your face.
If the conditions permit, we could even pass by the Ancient Forest with its centenary trees, some with 800 yrs old, just to allow you to feel the fresh pure air entering your lungs and healing you from inside!
Here, in the North, you will feel young again!

We had a wonderful day with Carlos on our tour of the "wild north" of Madeira. He is an skillful and safe driver. No small thing on the narrow winding roads of the island! He has fantastic knowledge and knows very much about the island. It is a pleasure to listen to his stories. He carefully plans the journey since the weather can sometimes be a bit tricky. He goes to great length tomake trip your stay in Madeira most enjoyable.
