Machu Picchu & Sacred Valley - 2 Day, 1 Night Tour
We depart Cusco at 8am and drive to the town of Pisac, where we will visit both the archaeological site and the vibrant local artisan market, , on the way we will stop briefly at an alpaca farm. We will have lunch in Urubamba (not included) and then visit the cobblestoned town of Ollantaytambo, and it's archaeological site. From there, we travel by train through the valley to our hotel in Aguas Calientes (dinner not included). Early the next morning, we take the bus up to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu. You will receive a comprehensive guided tour of this impressive and mysterious site before taking the bus back down to Aguas Calientes where we will have lunch (not included). We then catch the train back to Ollantaytambo, before returning to Cusco.

Our standard itinerary is summarised below:
7:00 am - Departure from Cusco
7:40 am - Visit an alpaca farm
8:15 am - Tour of Pisac archaeological site
9:30 am - Visit the Pisac market
11:30 am - Lunch in Urubamba
1:00 pm - Tour of Ollantaytambo archaeological site and the quaint village
4:30 pm - Depart the Ollantaytambo train station to Aguas Calientes
6:00 pm - Arrive to Aguas Calientes, free time for dinner
6:00 am - Depart from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu on the bus
6:30 am - Tour of Machu Picchu begins
11:30 am - Depart Machu Picchu by bus to Aguas Calientes
12:00 pm - Lunch in Aguas Calientes
2:30pm - Depart Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo by train
4:15pm - Depart Ollantaytambo to Cusco by car
6:15pm - Arrive back to Cusco (or around 3:45pm to Urubamba)
