See the Lusaka City at your own pace on this private tour
Lusaka is the capital and largest city of Zambia. One of the fastest developing cities in southern Africa. In the center, sprawling Lusaka City and Soweto Markets sells clothing, produce and other goods.
It is home to the Lusaka National Museum which exhibits archaeological finds and contemporary art including those of the TAZARA Rail Construction (A rail line from Tanzania to Zambia).
Nearby, the Freedom Statue commemorates Zambia's struggle for independence, a key beacon for you to see and hear more about our history.
South of the city, Munda Wanga Environmental Park has a wildlife sanctuary and botanical garden. The Lilayi Elephant Nursery cares for orphaned elephants and now the newly opened Lusaka National Park offers more interesting things to see while in the City.
This tour may also be customized to suit your specific needs and time and is suitable for all travelers (first time or returning travelers or those who might be having a long layover at the airport).

Elastol is a knowledgeable and empathetic guide who was able to adapt his tour to meet our requirements, finding the places we used to frequent 40 years ago and providing us with a good introduction to the present day Lusaka. He knows his way around, is good on his history, drives a comfortable car and was an excellent guide. He did this despite being up all night, he came straight from the hospital where his wife had just given birth. Happy ro recommend him.
