London Full Day Private Guided Tour
A full day in London without a car is a much more affordable way for groups to explore the most important parts of Central London, and to see all of the most popular sites. Instead of driving, we can use London's excellent public transport system. This will allow us to have a more active day, and to avoid any traffic in Central London. I will be able to provide you with an excellent introduction to this great city. I can also make suggestions about how you can organize the rest of your time in London, and offer advice about what you should try to include. Tours can be as relaxed or as informative as you would like.
We will be able to discuss this on the day. If you do not have any have specific ideas about what you would like to see, I can make suggestions. Typically we would explore the City of Westminster, the City of London and West London. This would include: Buckingham Palace, The Changing of the Guard (not everyday), The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, The London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, London Bridge, The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, The Millenium Bridge, The Globe Theatre, the Tate Modern. We could also include some of the following: Harrods, Abbey Road, Kensington Palace, markets (Saturday mornings), Apsley House and The British Museum.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: We can meet anywhere in Central London.
We can also arrange to meet outside London, but there will be an additional charge for this. This is something we can agree in advance.
End location: We can end tours anywhere in Central London. We can also arrange to end our tour outside London, but there will be an additional charge for this. This is something we can agree in advance.
Duration: 7 hours
Walking. Public transport (underground, bus, river boat).
Estimated Local Cash Needed
50 GBP - Each member of the group should expect to spend about £50. But this spends on what we choose to visit together, and what you have for lunch. Most groups pay to visit Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London. But there is a huge amount in London we can see without paying any entrance fees. I also recommend groups buy travel cards for the day which cost £12 for an adult.

Marcus was an unbelievably knowledgeable and personable guide. It was a great overview walking tour of all the important aspects of London. Marcus was very helpful on other suggestions for the following day and went out of his way to assist us with any and all questions. Highly recommend this specific tour for first-timers as well as Marcus for more experienced visitors who simply want to gain additional perspective from a very knowledgeable (and fun) local guide who is extremely customer-focused!
