This is a 17th Century 6m2/10km2 old royal hunting ground with roaming deer and an 18th Century hunting lodge.
We will cycle the River Thames + royal park before enjoying a leisurely walk through the Isabella Plantation (famous for azaleas and rhododendrons April/May)
Cycle to a local village pub for lunch or bring a sandwich to enjoy in the park.
Take a local ferry trip across the River Thames to Twickenham a town linked to rugby and royalty.
Pass historic houses and enjoy our afternoon tea picnic in an exotic riverside gardens.
Finish at a Twickenham train station to return to Central London

Terrific tour. Ginette A is wonderful. Highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in English gardens and parks. Ride along the Thames was beautiful. Ginette included home made delicacies and tea in a beautiful park while we watched a rehearsal for a Shakespeare play.
