Customised Private Chauffeured Garden Tours
Many excellent gardens are within easy reach of London; the neighbouring county of Kent is not known as the Garden of England for nothing! Take time out of London to visit Vita Sackville West's White Garden at Sissinghurst and pair this with the riot of colour at Christopher Lloyd's Great Dixter. From spectacular azaleas to roses in June, followed by deep perennial borders, the delights go on and on……. . Just tell me when you plan to tour and I will recommend gardens at their best for you to enjoy.
Many of the great gardens have historic houses to explore and enjoy such as Hever Castle, Leeds Castle or for the more modest family home Sir Winston Churchill's Chartwell.
Smaller cottage gardens are also open for viewing at differing times of the year.
You will be met at your hotel or apartment and driven to your choice of gardens.
We will have as much time as you like time to stroll through the gardens, the itineraries are planned so that the day unfolds at the pace you want. Within the day there will be the opportunity to stop at an English pub for lunch.
Finally, you will be returned to your hotel or apartment.

Dawn is an exceptionally skilled professional and a lovely person to be with. Our day with her in Kent showing us Sissinghurst Castle and Garden, Canterbury Cathedral and milestones along the pilgrims' way between them was captivating. Dawn's knowledge of her region, its histories, customs, styles, plants, animals, place name derivations,of anything and everything, is beyond impressive. She tells its stories beautifully, and also gives time to absorb and think about what you have learned. She's a star.
