Explore Loch Lomond and enjoy a visit to Glasgow, perfect for those with limited time, who want to see city and countryside.

A half day spent exploring the beauty of Loch Lomond taking in the Highland conservation village of Luss. Stunning location, and gives an introduction to the beauty of Scotland to those who don't have a huge amount of time to venture further. The Highlands begin at Loch Lomond, I'm sure you would love a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds this area.
The other half of the day is an introduction to Scotlands largest City, the beautiful & vibrant, Glasgow!
On our whistle stop tour we will visit Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, a drive through of the West End where we will see Glasgow University buildings dating back to the 15th century. OR it may be possible to visit Glasgow Cathedral, and pay a visit to George Square, & Buchanan Street. . . . fabulous areas! I am happy to discuss which parts you would rather visit.

Half Day Loch Lomond, visiting Luss, Highland Conservation Village, stopping at Firkin Point to take some beautiful pictures across Loch Lomond and enjoying the scenery that begins the 'Scottish Highlands'.
Other half of the day is spent travelling to Glasgow, Scotlands largest city, where (depending on your preferences), we will visit:
Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum
Glasgow Cathedral
George Square
Buchanan Street
Glasgow is a beautiful, vibrant city which is full of architecture admired around around the world - possibly our most famous Architect and Artist being Charles Rennie Mackintosh. We can even visit one of Glasgows famous tea rooms if you would like to see some more of Mackintoshes distinctive designs.
for those arriving on Cruise ships at Greenock, we can also make a stop at Newark Castle in Port Glasgow on return to the ship. A fabulous example of a 15th century castle.
**pls note - we may use the subway for part of the Glasgow Journey.

depending on numbers, we will travel in either my Chevrolet Captiva, all leather 4x4, or Hyundai i800, larger vehicle seating 6 passengers and potentially luggage also.

What’s Included

All costs associated with transport, i.e., fuel, insurance, parking etc. I will also pay for any subway or taxi rides that we may use in the city centre. Often, due to heavy traffic, it is easier to do this.

Estimated Local Cash Needed

25 GBP - No entrance fees to most of Glasgows attractions, however, you may like to purchase coffee, lunch etc, or perhaps some gifts from the fabulous gift shops in Loch Lomond.

What’s Extra

You will pay for any admission fees applicable, any refreshments along the way, or any gifts purchased. Also, if we use the subway in Glasgow, you will pay for your own tickets, aprox £3 each person.

My vehicle comfortably seat 3 adults, although I am able to access transport to carry up to 8 passengers,If you require. I am creating new tours now, and should have them published shortly. If there is a particular area you would like to visit, please ask.
