Breathtaking Loch Lomond and gorgeous Luss
I will meet you at your hotel or cruise ship and we will go to Loch Lomond which is only 40 minutes from Greenock and Glasgow. We will visit the shores of this famous loch and you can go for a cruise on the water if you wish.
One of the highlights will be the village of Luss with its quaint rows of cottages bedecked with flowers. Its jetty on the loch is one of the best places to take photographs and there is a highland arts shop to browse around as well as other high quality small business shops. I would suggest lunch or coffee at The Lodge on the Loch with a balcony overlooking Loch Lomond.
Please note that the price is per tour and not per person.
This is where the Scottish Highlands start I will collect you from the ship or your hotel. It does not take long to arrive at Loch Lomond and a visit to the small village of Luss on Loch Lomonds shore is the first stop. Luss is gorgeous with a population of 92. Luss and it's area is used for many film locations.
We will then head to Firkin Point which has stunning views of the loch and the mountains surrounding it.
Onwards to Ardlui a small hamlet with an old Victorian hotel with a great food menu for lunch as well as a whisky menu. Yes you read that correctly!
We can also visit Newark Castle 14th century the home of Patrick Maxwell (not a nice man) and Dumbarton Castle where Mary Queen of Scots left for France as a young girl.
There will be plenty of stops for photographs and just taking in the scenery. This is exactly how you would imagine Scotland to be like.
It is a very relaxing tour in lovely scenery. You will want to come back again to see more when you are not restricted by your other travel plans

The car is very comfortable. It's a 3 litre classic Jaguar. It has air conditioning leather seats and is naturally very safe. You do not see many of these cars on our roads .
