I've been working in this industry for more than 12 years and must say I love it . I consider guiding people around my hometown is not only my full-time job but my passion . Since I was a little kid I've been immersed in this world of history, archaeology and geography because my parents were both high-school teachers. My knowledge about our colonial past and history is excellent and always want to share it with all the visitors that come to Peru. One more passion I have is learning modern foreign languages. I'm completely fluent in English ( American accent because I've been an exchange student in Albuquerque New Mexico, USA ) , I also can speak French , Portuguese, Italian and some basic German ( ein bisschen Deutsch ) . I am licensed and authorized by the Peruvian Ministry of Tourism ( MINCETUR ) and by the College of Bachelors in Tourism of Lima ( COLITUR Association ) I invite you guys to discover South America's gastronomical capital, because besides our colonial heritage and archaeological sites the local food is attracting people from all over to Lima, too.
Cruise ship passengers are more than welcome to contact me, I know quite well how to deal with ship customers because some years ago I used to work on a ship. I will be very glad if you guys let me give you an introduction on my country and our history. Hope to hear from you. Thank you. Merci beaucoup. Tante grazie. Muito obrigado. Vielen dank.
