Come explore NYC's Symbolic Icons of Freedom with a private guide
Beat the crowds and get 3 tours in one!
A comprehensive 5 hour tour of NYC symbols of freedom and liberty that will also avoid you the extenuating waiting time and confusion you usually find when boarding from Battery Park to Liberty Island.
Visit the WTC2 and 9/11 memorial and learn not only about that tragic day but also the history of one of the major development areas of NYC.
Ferry ride across the Hudson to Liberty State Park in NJ for a visit to Empty Sky, the official New Jersey 9/11 memorial and the Communipaw Terminal, constructed in 1889 and abandoned in 1967, used by the immigrants after leaving Ellis Island.
Of course The Statue of Liberty is the star of the show, the most iconic image of freedom, a modern marvel and an engineering feat. We will access the Statue's pedestal (depending on availability) for a close-up view of its inner structure and a breathtaking sight of the NY skyline.
The tour will end at the Immigration Museum on Ellis Island with an included self-guided audio tour.
We will meet in front of the Oculus (ChurchSt/Fulton St). From there we will walk to the WFC terminal after a brief visit to the Irish Hunger Memorial, take the ferry to Liberty State Park in NJ and visit Empty Sky and the Communipaw Terminal.
Another ferry will then take us to Liberty Island where we will visit the grounds and museum.
Your Freedom tour ends on Ellis Island where I will leave you with ferry passes and instructions to the Ellis Island Museum. Here, with the aid of an excellent audio guide, you can take your time visiting the museum and enjoying a nice lunch on the grounds overlooking Manhattan.
At the end of your visit you will head back to Battery Park in Manhattan by ferry.
Some of the things you will see are:
Brookfield Place and Marina Bay

My wife and I had a great day exploring the 9/11 memorial as well as liberty and ellis islands with Francesco. Francesco is incredibly knowledgeable of the New York history, in particular that of the statue of liberty and the early immigrant transfers thru ellis island. We highly recommend a private walking tour with Francesco.
