What was Milan in the time of Leonardo ? How the great genius affected the town?
The 30 years old Leonardo da Vinci left Florence in 1483 to come to Milan, which was at that time, one of the Renaissance capitals of Italy. Why Milan? The genius spent more than 15 years working in our town during his first stay for the family Sforza. He was actually employed as a musician, but he was also an architect, an engineer, he was even organizing parties at the Sforza Castle. . . he was a painter as well.
He was not the only famous artist working in Milan at that time: the architect Bramante was projecting at the same time the church Santa Maria Delle Grazie and the smaller Santa Maria presso San Satiro.
During our tour, we'll follow Leonardo's footsteps around Milan, from the Sforza Castle, up to the vineyard given to him as a present by Duke Ludovico il Moro and the others Renaissance jewels designed by Bramante.
The tour may include the Last Supper (booking is compulsory and must be made few months in advance) or the Leonardo 3Museum in the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele.
This is a walking tour. The tram may be used or - upon your request - a taxi.
On 14th June 2018 will open the selling of the tickets for the Last Supper for September 2018. Get in contact with me before that day, if you want to see it in September.

Fausta's knowledge was exceptional. Four of us from Australia in our 60's had the most amazing afternoon with Fausta. The pace was great particularly as it was very hot. When we booked the tour, tickets to The Last Supper were not available. The day they went on sale for 5 September 2018 Fausta secured tickets so we were able to see The Last Supper. Fausta explained the history and renovations undertaken over the years. We also did rooftop tour of Milan Duomo. Highly recommend a tour with Fausta.
